Talk to me, tell me your name You blow me off like it's all the same You lit a fuse, and now I'm ticking away Like a bomb, yeah baby Talk to me, tell me your sign You're switchin' sides like a gemini You're playing games and now you're hittin' my heart Like a drum, yeah baby Well if Lady Luck gets on my side We're gonna rock this town alive I'll let her rough me up 'Til she knocks me out 'Cause she walks like she talks And she talks like she walks

Dead; forgot how long it’s been Since I visited the world that I lived in Shit. Digging up the holes I kept when I left Soil and cooling clay on my pick Alien meet capuchin Don’t know too much about myself But that won’t stop me From downward spirals and seeking help I guess I just need anything to cure the vertigo from looking down on myself For some it’s bells and whistles For some it’s someone else I need some self-dependence cause what if I’m by myself?

about

an album of loose demos I kicked around through 2018, many of them ending up on later projects (Dusty Copy ended up reworked as Cactus Breath, the chorus of Alien v. Capuchin got kicked down the road til it ended up as Livin’/Dyin’ Wrong, from Such and Such). I don’t remember exactly when in 2018 it was released, so I used a filler date. I was living in the apartment in West Seattle where the cover for Balancing Act was taken.
